MAKE SHIFT FOUNDATION.
We believe that enterprise is a powerful tool for social inclusion and meaningful urban regeneration. Make Shift Foundation is a newly-founded charity which aims to widen access to enterprise and employment opportunities through the provision of training, mentoring and by promoting access to affordable events and working space. We do this through 3 programmes:
We hold workshops, school visits, youth group tours and other activities showcasing the different types of job opportunities available in the digital, hospitality and creative sectors. We focus on storytelling, and offer opportunities for entrepreneurs and businesses to share lessons from the highs and lows of their journey.
We host meet ups, trading and testing opportunities for 'soon to be' entrepreneurs, linking them with a range of local organisations who can support them along their journey.
We coordinate opportunities for seasoned entrepreneurs at Pop Brixton, Peckham Levels and other local entrepreneurs to volunteer their time to inspire and equip others in the local community.

OUR BOARD AND TEAM
Andrea, Johan and James make up the current board of trustees who govern the charity and support Gwenno and Bayo to execute the charity's work. Make Shift Foundation is a charitable company and is currently going through the Charity Commission registration process.
We are now expanding our board and team and recruiting people who share our passion for social inclusion to help us deliver our mission. We are searching for up to 3 trustees to help drive the strategic direction of the charity, and one Social Action Officer to deliver programmes and outreach work in Peckham. Click ‘join us’ below for more details.
We’re growing our network of delivery partners, collaborators, funders and advisers. If you’re interested in our plans or think we can work together, we would love to hear from you.
